Personal Debt Clock - Your Debt Continues to Tick Away, But These Tips May Help

With every passing day, your debt is either going up or down. You may make a credit card payment for $75, but then go buy a new television for $375 on that same card. If that is the case, then your debt clock is drastically ticking the wrong direction. People often say they will pay off their debt next year or when they are a certain age. Why not start now? You certainly are not getting younger.

You may have no extra money, but I have a few tips that may enlighten you on where to find a little extra cash. Even $50 or $100 extra per month can go a long way.

Here are some great part-time job ideas for earning extra cash:

1. Be a server at a restaurant and you could wait tables in the evening and on weekends (tips can be great).

2. Mow lawns, trim bushes, pickup leaves or shovel snow (maybe you live in a neighborhood, just go door to door - I did this one year and was mowing 13 lawns by the end of summer).

3. Clean houses (if you prove to be a good house cleaner, you could easily clean 2 or 3 houses per weekend and make $150 or more).

4. Deliver food (pizza, Chinese, or any delivery service in your area).

5. Do handy man/woman services or grocery pickup services for elderly people (please do not take advantage of them).

Remember that your personal debt clock is ticking right now, so get started today finding that extra money to become debt free. It will certainly be worth it in the end when you are a millionaire and all your friends are still wondering how you did it.
