Free Debt Advice - The Best Debt Advice is Free
Are you at a loss for figuring out how to get out of debt for good? Have you paid off your credit card (or cards) several times, only to run them up again?
Television, the library, and the internet abound with free debt advice. However, the best advice comes from people who are trying to do the same thing you are - get out of debt forever, sleep soundly at night, and never worry about finances again.
Just like with addiction, weight loss, or studying for a huge final exam, most people do better when they’re part of a group or team. With friends to lean on, support, ask advice of, etc., we, as a society, tend to stick with things longer than if we’re going it alone.
What you probably need when you’re first learning - and later mastering - the debt-free process is a group of like-minded people around you.
Now, you’re not likely to find this group out in the “real world.” There are few, if any, meetings of weird, “we don’t want debt anymore” clubs meeting at the community center or library.
However, you will find some wonderful communities of these folks right here on the internet. They are the absolute best source of free debt advice.
Who better to turn to when you’re struggling with the decision of where to stick your tax rebate or tax refund?
Who better to bounce ideas off of when you’re trying to figure out the best source of extra income than someone who’s tried delivering pizzas, throwing newspapers, or worked extra hours from home? This is a gold mine!
At the same time, while you’re learning all of this great information as part of a group, you are becoming a debt free expert yourself. As new members join the community, you will become a resource.
This is one of the real bonuses about becoming debt free. As exciting as it is to eliminate your own debt, it is sometimes even more thrilling to offer your own free debt advice and realize that you have helped make a difference in the life of someone who really needed it.
