Outstanding Debt Settlement Results

Not all the work falls on the shoulders of the agency or service negotiating on someone else’s behalf, clients must stay involved and in touch to help out whenever needed. Sometimes the percentages a negotiator can reach on a settlement will be better served if the client is accessible and available. Settlements sometimes take minutes to reach and clients must be available to accept or reject such offers. These offers are sometimes only placed on the table for a day or so and an unresponsive client may not get the settlement deal he/she deserves.

Once a person makes a decision to work with a debt negotiation service, this relationship becomes a marriage. This person must be available to accept phone calls, faxes, emails, etc.. at home, at work or on the road, Sunday through Saturday. There are no excuses for not being available when the common goal between client and his/her debt negotiator is to save money on great offers. Dinners or other such events may be interrupted and the client must understand this is being done for his/her own good.

Some negotiation talks not all will require the client to come on the phone on a three way call between his negotiator and collector. The nature of the clients involvement might just be simply enough to state his/her name and give permission to his/her negotiator to speak to the collecting party. A client who is unwilling to perform this simple duty should not get involved with negotiating settlements on his/her unsecured debt. An unwillingness to perform this duty if called upon will negate substantial savings on any one account.

Clients availability opens up a whole spectrum of possibilities to save large amounts of money and simply this is the reason anyone would negotiate settlements on their unsecured debt. In my experience nine out of ten clients that are really involved in their negotiations achieve their desired goals. It is important to look at a settlement effort as a last resort, maybe the last option a person has before having to take on other measures such as bankruptcy. When taken seriously and we do not run away from our responsibilities debt negotiation can be a wonderful event.

The possibilities of saving large amounts of money on unsecured debt are endless, the simple fact of just staying in touch or available whenever called upon will make the difference between someone who is successful and someone who is not at settling their debt. Always remember to stay involved for outstanding debt settlement results and a debt free life.
